AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2579 




2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2579 by replacing 
3everything after the enacting clause with the following:


4 "Section 5. The Juvenile Court Act of 1987 is amended by 
5changing Section 1-18 as follows:




6 (705 ILCS 405/1-18)



7 Sec. 1-18. Department of Juvenile Justice Administrative 
8Office of the Illinois Courts; report. The
Department of 
9Juvenile Justice Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts 
10shall study the fiscal impact
of the implementation of Public 
11Act 100-285 upon probation departments. The Department of 
12Juvenile Justice may 90-590 (the Juvenile Justice Reform

13Provisions of 1998) which is under its authority and submit a 
14report of that
study to the General Assembly within 12 months 
15after the enactment of this amendatory that
Act of the 100th 
16General Assembly. The Department of Juvenile Justice

1Administrative Office may, in addition to other requests, make

request for funding of the implementation of that Act.
