| 18 | | A mortality review team may make recommendations to the |

| 20 | | (c) Each mortality review team member must have |
| 21 | | demonstrated experience or an interest in welfare of youth in |
| 22 | | State custody.

| 23 | | (d) The mortality review teams shall be funded in the |
| 24 | | Department's annual budget to provide for the travel expenses |
| 25 | | of team members and professional services engaged by the team.

| 26 | | (e) If a death of a youth in the Department's custody |

| 1 | | occurs while a prior youth death is under review by a team |
| 2 | | pursuant to this Act, the Director may request that the team |
| 3 | | review the subsequent death. |
| 4 | | (f) Upon the conclusion of all reporting required under |
| 5 | | Sections 20, 25, and 30 with respect to a death reviewed by a |
| 6 | | team, all appointments to the team shall expire.
