       The Committee on Criminal Justice (Brodeur) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 170 - 175
    4  and insert:
    5         (3) The unlawful distribution, delivery, sale, or
    6  dispensing of a substance or mixture specified in subparagraphs
    7  (2)(a)1.-8. may be from a person who directly, or indirectly
    8  through another person, provided the substance or mixture to the
    9  user who was injured or overdosed.
