       The Committee on Education (Montford) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete line 159
    4  and insert:
    5  school guardian certified appointed by the sheriff. At a
    6  superintendent’s discretion, any such certified school guardian
    7  may be appointed to a school by its respective superintendent.
    8  An individual may not serve as a school guardian in a school
    9  unless he or she is appointed by the superintendent.
